Lisa Branine — Board Member-at-Large

Lisa Branine née Blanchat is a lifelong resident of West Wichita. She attended 12 years of Catholic schools graduating in 1977 from Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. Lisa then attended Kansas Newman College from 1977 through 1979 graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.

Her employment history began in 1976 through 1980 at Blanchat Machine Company Incorporated as a phone receptionist and secretary. In 1980, she accepted a position for the City of Wichita in the Water Department. During her 30-year career at the City, she worked as a Customer Service Clerk, Meter Shop Clerk, Water Billing Clerk, Secretary, and finally retiring as an Administrative Assistant to the Customer Service Manager where she spent 16 years assisting the Manager, the Department Accountant, the Customer Service Supervisor, and the Field and Meter Reading Supervisor. 

During her years as a semi-professional bass fisherman, she represented several national products Champion Boats and G. Loomis fishing rods. Lisa assisted in founding a bass club under the Kansas Bass Federation. She served as president in that club multiple years over a 10-year period. Lisa also participated in shooting sports with her late husband.  

Lisa, a jack of all trades, has experience in accounting and event planning. Lisa brings with her a magnificent work ethic and a warm heart to do whatever is necessary to make Music Youth Partnership a success.
